NOVEMBER 2009

On the 27th November HRH Princess Anne visited our carers service in Bury. During the visit she officially opened the centre as well as meeting the carers and staff taking a keen interest in the service and the people who use it.

Dawn O'Rooke from our Salford Carers Centre has just been informed that she has been appointed to the Standing Commission on Carers - This means she will be one of the select advisors to government strategy and developments for carer's. Dawn was selected following a rigorous application process and interview in London - Well Done from everyone at Gaddum .
